Memoryies of QPRHAHA away
Only a few for me.
In 2002/03 season I think, I remember losing 1.0 and Zamora missing a citer with moments to go. Best bit was West Ham fans were singing “size 14 you’re having a laugh” to two absolute lumps in the QPR end. They didn’t return to their seats in the 2nd half.

Few season back Jarvis and Vez Te scoring and winning 2.1.

I am sure you lot can do better

Re: Memoryies of QPRHAHA away
My first match at QPR was in 1974 when we won 2-0, two Billy Jennings headers past PHil Parkes, I seem to recall.

Another was our 1-0 win via a McAvennie goal on the plastic pitch in 85-86, plus many others. We have also been turned over a few times there down the years, none more so than the 1-3 FA Cup match when the supporters spilled on to the pitch, I can't remember the year now.

Quite frankly I don't remember the full end going for bubbles tbhc take your word for it.

Our away support is pants nowadays though, no two ways about it...

Who is clutching at straws, you said in your original post, that we didn't sing at all, when I pointed out the fallacy in your quote, you then moved the goalposts by saying we were subdued

I might add, that the fact QPR were charging 50 notes a pop, may have had a bearing on any perceived lack of support

Keep clutching at straws, when I was growing up our away support was different gravy...

Nowadays we're one of the quietest in the league...

You said we didn't sing at all, quite clearly we did

Re: Memoryies of QPRHAHA away
Does one song equate a decent support then? As usual I thought we were subdued...

3-0 defeat in '96

Foolishly underestimated how long it'd take to get from Whitechapel boozer to Loftus Rd and got there 40 mins late.

They'd closed the turnstiles by that time so had to get let in by a steward who took us through the police horse area - remember we had to duck under their heads to get to where we needed to be.

Shite rest of match not helped by being taunted by local kids wearing Arsenal (and various other successful PL teams' shirts) in the corner by the away end.

At least the win didn't help them escape relegation.

Going 1 nil up in an FA Cup replay and losing 6 - 1, the word abject is not a current phenomenon, late 70's

Also , only ever time I got locked out and couldn't get in, at a midweek night game, outside ground fallen telegraph pole was being used to try to batter down gate, early 70's

Always feel claustrophobic going over there.

First ever away game, early 90's, nil nil, virtually nothing happened all game. My stand out memory is that it was the first game after Morley got stabbed by his wife and people were talking about it as we were milling in. The general opinion was that there was no way the rumours about him and bishop could be true. 5minutes in and bish misplaces a pass, cue loads of shouts of you fucking faggot cunt bishop

Yep, was at the 80s matches. The overcrowding one was a bit dangerous at one time.

They was always a strange bunch and a soft touch though, Qphaha. Most london clubs used to take the Loft.

One of me mates said in early 70s west ham just walked in there as usual and were chucking hot cups of tea over the Qphaha lot as they was legging it.
Might have been the '75 game that W6hammer mentioned earlier.

i was also at the game in the 80s when we took over the ground. it got a bit scarey at one point until they let loads of fans on to the edge of the pitch

At home but, the 1975 Cup 2-1 win over QPR at UP was one of my best memories on a quagmire of a pitch.

Stanley Bowles got subbed for Don Rodgers and gave a two fingered salute to West Ham fans who were cheering.

Matthew ROSE scored the winner in a 1-0 defeat.

Harewood missed a fucking sitter last minute.
